A huge thank you to everyone who came to see our October 2025 production of Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett. We had our largest audience for 10 years, and a sell-out performance on Saturday night, None of this would be possible without our loyal audience members.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks for the generosity of our audience and sponsors (Connect Financial Solutions) in donating to support Ashgate Hospice through this production, in memory of our dear friend Rod Duncan, a long-time director and actor with Tudor Players, who is greatly missed since his death in 2024.
Pictured passing our donation to Jamie Smith at Ashgate Hospice are Granny Weatherwax (Fran Rooker), Nanny Ogg (Edwina Gascoyne) and Magrat Garlick (Charlie Gascoyne-Thompson).

At Tudor Players, we are dedicated to delivering compelling theatre to the heart of Sheffield. Our community theatre productions are designed to engage, entertain, and inspire audiences through powerful storytelling and dynamic performances. We present three productions each year, in February, June, and October, at the Sheffield Library Theatre, located in the vibrant Sheffield theatre district, right in the centre of the city.

We are always seeking new members who are passionate about theatre, whether you want to act or work behind the scenes. Our productions require a diverse range of talents, so if you're interested in set design and construction, sound, lighting, costumes, props, stage management or acting, we would like to hear from you.
We normally rehearse on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7.30pm - 10.00pm at our studio and workshop in Attercliffe, Sheffield. If you're interested in amateur theatre, contact us to come along, meet the Tudor Players team, and join in.
