Comedy and Drama since 1967
Terry Pratchett takes Shakespeare's Macbeth and then turns it up 'till the knob comes off. It's all there - a wicked duke and duchess, the ghost of the murdered king, dim soldiers, strolling players, a land in peril. And who stands between the Kingdom and destruction? Three witches. Granny Weatherwax (intolerant, self-opinionated, powerful), Nanny Ogg (down-to-earth, vulgar) and Magrat Garlick (naïve, fond of occult jewellery and bunnies).
Wyrd Sisters is Terry Pratchett's sixth Discworld novel, originally published in 1988 and adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs in 2013 to mark the 25th anniversary of the book.

"Alle Thee Dysk's a Stage"
Tudor Players will be supporting Ashgate Hospice with this production, in memory of Rod Duncan, long-time and much-missed Tudor Players director and actor who died in 2024.
Rod was a huge Terry Pratchett fan and would have loved being involved in this production. We hope to use music composed by Rod during the show, meaning that this will be a unique production of Wyrd Sisters - get your tickets now and find out more!
Purchase tickets for three separate productions on the same booking, and prices are discounted by £1 per ticket from the published prices. Come and see the February, June and October productions for only £36 (concessions £33)! Booking fees apply. Season Tickets are available between the October and February productions each year.
We are pleased to offer a discount of 10% for bookings of 10 or more tickets for the same production.
At Tudor Players, we strive to bring compelling theatre to the heart of Sheffield. Our productions aim to engage, entertain, and inspire audiences through powerful storytelling and dynamic performances. We present three productions each year, in February, June and October, at the Sheffield Library Theatre in the heart of Sheffield's theatre district.
We are always seeking new members interesting in acting or behind the scenes work. It takes a wealth of different talents to put on our productions, so if you are interested in set design and construction, sound, lighting, costumes, props, stage management, front of house or anything else, please get in touch.
We normally rehearse on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7.30pm - 10.00pm. Contact us if you would like to come along, meet the team and join in.
